Nutrition
The Ventura Unified School District offers the "Welcome to VUSD Food and Nutrition Services."
Their goal is to provide all students healthy and appealing meals.
The Healthy Schools Project, is part of the Coordinated School Health Council, and features:
- Harvest of the Month Taste testing
- Farm-to-School Salad Bar
- Garden based learning
- Cooking in the classroom
- Nutrition education
